Tyson is the professional nickname of Reginaldo Gomes dos Santos, who founded Jungle Grip, a Manaus-based company specialising in the rental of cinematographic machinery. Since 1996, Tyson has built a successful career as a director of photography and key grip, participating in national and international audiovisual productions of great impact.
Tyson has built a diverse portfolio of professional experience, including award-winning projects and collaborations with major productions. Highlights of his career include acting as key grip on the successful TV Globo production "Dois Irmãos", which portrays the complex story of twins in the Amazon.
He also worked as Gaffer and key grip on the TV movie "Pés de Peixe" (TV Globo, 2024), contributing to the high technical standard of the work.
Tyson's portfolio also includes the short film "Jamary" (2021), which won the Best Cinematography award at the 9th Caruaru Film Festival, confirming his ability to capture visual narratives with sensitivity.
He was also awarded at the Amazon Film Festival – Olhar do Norte for his work on the short film "Controle", consolidating Tyson as a reference in Amazonian cinematography.
Additionally, Tyson has participated in other major international productions, such as the Indian feature film "Amazon Obhijaan" and the short film "Under the Heavens - Seiva Bruta" (2021), filmed in Brazil.
